Frances and Paul Kuglitsch, Sr. begin entertaining the community at 43rd and Greenfield Ave., launching a popular neighborhood Bowling Alley, Bar and Lounge.

Kuglitsch’s thrives as a hub for West Allis and Milwaukee nightlife, boasting Liberace himself as an early regular, who would often stop in for lunch before hopping a streetcar downtown.

1952

The City of Milwaukee begins labor on the first of 13 expressways, opening Kuglitsch’s to a wider audience of celebrants. Business booms and expansion proves inevitable.

Rapid growth spurs the construction of a massive building addition, to include supplemental bowling lanes, an elegant new banquet space and corresponding catering facilities.

The Kuglitsch family responds to demand outside of West Milwaukee, developing yet another entertainment complex in burgeoning New Berlin.

America’s taste for Texas Barbeque reaches Wisconsin, and Kuglitsch’s responds in kind. Bubb’s BBQ is born to round out the portfolio, refining the menu and technique year over year.

Mark Andersen honors 75 years of unmatched service, and proposes carrying the Kuglitsch quality into the 21st century. Mark acquires the business and moves forward as All Occasions Catering, as it is known today.
